It is approaching the end of March and it's safe to say that the season is over! It's been a great year! The VCAA Executive elections occurred last night and we are happy to see new faces as well as familiar ones for exec 2012-2013.

The new exec will be announced before the start of a new term, but before we do let's take a moment to thank and congratulate the hard-working members who will be parting VCAA as they will be graduating! In alphabetical order:

The athletic banquet was a success! Congrats to everyone who won an award, yes raffle ticket prizes count too. Thanks for coming out to celebrate all the athletes!

Only three days until the end-of-the-year banquet!
There is also an after party at O'Grady's Tap & Grill on College at 10:30pm until close. Hope to see you there!

The athletic banquet is just 19 days away! Book off that Thursday night for a fun night and then an after-party at O'Grady's!

Also, dodgeball tournament from 12-5pm in the AC Field House tomorrow!

Don't worry if you missed rock climbing last time because we'll be having one more round along with some other things. ;)

The Squash Ladder is now updated with rankings! Who's on top for this month of January?

Hey squash players! There will be a squash ladder tutorial on January 22^nd at 3:00pm, at the AC squash courts. See you there!

This Wednesday at Hart House Gym, try out wheelchair basketball from 7-9 pm! Everyone is welcome to this session that will be led by a local basketball club's Head Coach and some athletes, with everything provided. It's a great chance to have some fun and learn more about Paralympic sports and different opportunities.

• Singles Tennis Tournament this Sunday from 12 to 5 pm in the Field House at the AC! (only for registered individuals)
• Baseball at 2 p.m. in Marg Ad Field for anyone interested!

Welcome to another year of athletics! VCAA hopes you all had a great summer and are ready for another season of intramural sports and events! The VCAA organizes all the athletic activities offered by the University of Toronto intramurals program for Vic students. We also hold special events throughout the year to promote an interest in athletics at Vic including Vic only tournaments and trips to professional sports games.
