Nominations are welcome for new Fellows and Associates of Victoria College.
The purpose of College Fellowship is to support collegiality across the disciplines of research and study. Fellows participate in the life of the College by taking part in activities ranging from transdisciplinary research colloquia to governance to social events. They contribute to the College’s educational mission by teaching and mentoring students in formal and informal ways.
The main criteria for Fellow or Associate status are the ability to contribute meaningfully to the academic and/or research mission of Victoria College, and willingness to fulfil actively the responsibilities of Fellows. Fellows are expected to hold continuing or renewable faculty appointments of 50% or more in Victoria University or the University of Toronto. Associates may hold full- or part-time appointments or come from the wider community. The full policy, along with the list of current Fellows and Associates, is available at https://www.vic.utoronto.ca/about-victoria/victoria-college-fellows-and-associates/.
Nominations for consideration by the Fellows Committee of Victoria College Council should be submitted at https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/VicNom2022-23 by January 31, 2022. They should include a letter outlining the rationale for the nomination and the curriculum vitae of the nominee.
