Student Summer Accommodations in Rowell Jackman
Victoria University provides accommodation options at the Rowell Jackman residence building for university students over the summer, from 10 a.m. on May 5, 2024, to 10 a.m. on August 11, 2024.
Rowell Jackman Hall boasts air-conditioned apartment-style units with three, four, five, and six bedrooms, equipped with essential amenities. The University provides refrigerators, stoves, and microwaves in the kitchens, while bedrooms and common spaces are furnished for basic comfort. Free Wi-Fi is available in the residence, and arrangements for internet access can be made upon arrival. Please note that we have a limited number of rooms available, and allocation is done on a first-come, first-served basis.
Current residents extending their stay from the Winter 2024 session to the summer session can request to remain in the residence during the transition period at no additional cost. Students choosing not to stay for the Transition Period between sessions must vacate their Winter residence space within 48 hours after their last academic commitment (exam, assignment, etc.) or by the latest possible extension date of 10:00 a.m. on May 1, 2024.
Summer students accepted for the 2024 Fall term session in our residences have the choice to move to their Fall Session assigned rooms during the interim period for an additional fee. The Residence Services Department is committed to assessing and approving these requests, evaluating each case individually.
