Victoria College in the University of Toronto invites nominations for the Shaftesbury Creative Writer-in-Residence, for the 2022-2023 academic year.
Nominees should have an established track record of creative writing in any genre, including national and international recognition; teaching and mentoring capabilities; and the ability to make a positive contribution to the Victoria College community by engaging students in literary citizenship.
The Shaftesbury Writer-in-Residence will lead a 12-week seminar or workshop and participate in other activities that foster a dynamic environment for creative writing at Victoria College. These may include readings or public lectures, mentoring student writers, and participating in events connected to the College’s program in Creative Expression & Society.
