Devotion to Vic: The Isabel Bader In-Course Scholarships

Isabel (Overton) Bader Vic 4T9, Hon. 9T5 and her late husband Alfred have been friends and major benefactors of Victoria University for decades. The Bader’s foundation, Bader Philanthropies Inc., supports myriad causes throughout the world with a special focus on education. The Bader family has a long tradition of supporting Victoria and our wonderful theatre bears Isabel’s name. In addition, Isabel has been extraordinarily generous in her support of students through the funding of many scholarships and bursaries including The Isabel Bader In-Course Scholarships. These scholarships provide significant recognition and support for outstanding students. In-course scholarships reward success and provide financial encouragement for students to succeed at an exceptional academic level. So many past and present Vic students are familiar with the Bader name thanks to the extensive number of scholarships and bursaries that have been funded by Isabel and Alfred.
