Parking Rates

Day and night parking on campus is limited and offered on a first-come, first-served basis. 

Full-day, reserved parking is valid for 24 hours and must be applied for in advance. Reservations may be cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances such as weather and construction.

 Term parking is for four-month periods: September-December, January-April or May-August.

For monthly and term parking rates for Vic students, staff and faculty, please contact the Residence & Parking Services Desk.

Parking must be paid for first at Margaret Addison Hall at 140 Charles St. W. and is non-refundable. The university holds the right to ticket and/or tow any vehicles that have not purchased or displayed valid parking tags.

EV Charging

Electric vehicle charging stations are available on campus and located underground in the Rowell Jackman parking garage. They are available to weekly, monthly and term pass holders authorized to park in the garage.  

How to charge your car:

  1. Register for a free FLO account here, or download the FLO app via the  Apple App Store or  Google Play.
  2. Drive your car to spots #13 and #14 on Level P1 in the Rowell Jackman Hall parking garage at 85 Charles St. W. 
  3. Pay $2 per hour, for a maximum of four hours. A penalty fee of $3 per hour applies after the four-hour limit.

Vehicles guidelines

Only charging EVs can be parked in charging spots, which can be used for a maximum of four hours and are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Non-compliant vehicles will be subject to a City of Toronto parking violation ticket and towed at the owner’s expense. Your vehicle must:

  • Be certified electric
  • Be actively charging while using the space (up to four hours)
  • Relocate to a regular parking spot after charging is complete
  • Display a valid Victoria University Rowell Jackman parking permit during charging  

You should monitor your vehicle while charging. You can set up notifications from FLO to notify you when your vehicle is fully charged.
