“Crescam serviendo” translates roughly as “I will grow through service.”

The Crescam Serviendo Awards recognize Victoria College students who have gone above and beyond to make a positive impact on the College community. Students in elected or appointed positions must exceed traditional expectations of their role, with the focus being on the quality of service rather than the quantity.

The Office of the Dean of Students received 44 nominations from students, staff and faculty, matching last year’s record.

"Victoria students never cease to amaze me with their ability to balance academics while taking on meaningful volunteer roles,” Victoria University President Dr. Rhonda McEwen said in a recorded video at the Crescam Serviendo Awards Ceremony on March 13. “You dive into opportunities that matter to you, explore your passions and build connections that make this campus such a vibrant and inspiring place.”
