Patrick Phillips is the author of Blood at the Root, a work of nonfiction, as well as four books of poems, including Song of the Closing Doors and Elegy for a Broken Machine, which was a finalist for the National Book Award. He lives in San Francisco and teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Stanford University.
Karen Solie is the award-winning author of five collections of poetry. She teaches at the University of St. Andrews in Scotland.
Timothy Taylor is the bestselling and award-winning author of seven book length works of fiction and nonfiction. He’s also a widely published journalist and a professor with the UBC School of Creative Writing. He lives in Vancouver. He has a new novel out in 2024 called The Rise and Fall of Magic Wolf.
Ian Williams is the author of six books of poetry, fiction, and nonfiction, including Reproduction, which won the Giller prize, and Disorientation. He is the Director of the MA in English in the Field of Creative Writing at U of T.
